Emotional stress, pain, discomfort and situations that are experienced as negative are areas where tapping can benefit us. Equally, it is possible to use tapping techniques to gain a better performance, be that professionally or in an athletic setting. What is gently accessed are the doubt and fear based thoughts preventing us from a fuller experience.
Releasing the fears, painful emotions, limiting beliefs, physical stress and negative childhood memories, we use tapping to access the issue at the core but without having to delve into the emotional pain. Frequently emotions can return for a round or two after which they are safely and kindly released.
It goes without saying that different people have different responses to this work, some things release quicker than others, depending on how intensely that problem has been held. There may be layers to issues that have their root in multiple overlapping events. Patient continuous application including home work leads to awareness and to successful results.
In the hands and with the skills of a professional practitioner, tapping covers a lot of ground. Guided by my clients’ words, I focus on the feelings that are present, the words and thoughts which express your concerns, the sense of failure or doubt, fears and any other emotional aspects that come with your unique set of circumstances. Whether you keep tripping over issues at work or have this deep unsettled feeling inside, tapping can help you to become free.
With careful setup statements we make sure you experience a sense of resonance as you tap along. I encourage my clients to add their own words so practice becomes easier and the tools are learned quickly for use at home and in other situations. Basically, you can’t get this wrong, your intention and my teaching will guide you.
Tapping is used in all areas of life – it’s a most effective and easy to use, carry-along tool wherever you are. Remembering that tapping is a request and a focus on healing, it can access our connectedness in ways that travels faster than the speed of light. At the consciousness level, profound changes take place and we have found that our own shifts in attitude affect others in our circle almost instantaneously. In this way many people benefit from the personal expansion tapping offers, even if it seems that you are the only one doing the actual work.
Tapping is able to set up a conversation with your thoughts and your body by which the unconscious belief that something is bad - even though logically there seems to be no reason for it – can be uncovered and released, without delving into the pain of the past. We like to test and measure outcomes of release to be sure that we covered the issue.
We teach tapping in groups too, where in safe space everyone can get clear on where the points are and how the set up statements work. Following along with any concerns that come up in the classroom, tapping together adds to the wellbeing of all participants. Please call the office for class times.
Personally, I have used tapping for a myriad of issues, from trauma release to a quickie uplift during the day. I find it soothing during difficult times and generally improve my own life with a few rounds of tapping. In every day practice, tapping sometimes takes the place of prayer as I combine this technique with my own spiritual work.
Everyone can do it – learn it correctly and practice often.
